Cross-Platform Viewer
A universal viewer engine that renders 360° tours, VR walkthroughs, and AR overlays consistently across web browsers, mobile devices, and VR headsets.
Dev Centre House Australia developed an immersive 360°, VR, and AR experience platform for EvryVision, enabling businesses to deliver interactive spatial content across web, mobile, and headset devices.
EvryVision is an immersive technology company specialising in 360°, Virtual Reality (VR), and Augmented Reality (AR) experiences. The platform empowers businesses across real estate, tourism, education, and events to create and distribute interactive spatial content that engages audiences far beyond traditional media.
EvryVision's mission is to make immersive experiences accessible, scalable, and impactful — transforming how organisations present spaces, products, and stories through cutting-edge spatial technology.
EvryVision faced the challenge of building a platform that could deliver high-fidelity immersive content across vastly different devices and environments — from desktop browsers to VR headsets and mobile AR. The platform needed to handle large 360° media assets with minimal load times while maintaining visual quality. Cross-device compatibility was critical: the experience had to feel seamless whether accessed on a smartphone, laptop, or Meta Quest headset.
Additionally, EvryVision needed an intuitive content management system that allowed non-technical users to upload, organise, and publish immersive tours without specialised 3D or VR knowledge. Scalability was also a concern, as the platform needed to support growing numbers of concurrent users and media-heavy projects without performance degradation.
EvryVision was built as a cloud-based immersive content platform with a focus on performance, accessibility, and ease of use:
A universal viewer engine that renders 360° tours, VR walkthroughs, and AR overlays consistently across web browsers, mobile devices, and VR headsets.
Automated compression, tiling, and CDN delivery for 360° images and videos, ensuring fast load times without sacrificing visual fidelity.
A drag-and-drop CMS enabling non-technical users to create, edit, and publish immersive tours with hotspots, annotations, and navigation flows.
Rich interaction layers — clickable hotspots, info panels, embedded media, and guided tour paths — that transform static 360° content into engaging experiences.
Cloud-native infrastructure designed for high-concurrency streaming, global CDN distribution, and elastic scaling as content libraries and user bases grow.
Scope of Work
Project Duration 2024 – Present
Analysed immersive content workflows across target industries (real estate, tourism, education) and defined device-compatibility requirements for web, mobile, and VR headsets.
Designed a viewer experience optimised for spatial navigation, plus a CMS interface that enables non-technical users to build and publish tours independently.
Iterative Agile sprints focused on the viewer engine, media pipeline, CMS, and integration APIs — with continuous performance profiling for large media assets.
Cross-device testing across browsers, smartphones, and VR headsets. Load testing for concurrent streaming and visual quality validation at multiple compression levels.
Platform launched with initial client onboarding, followed by iterative feature releases driven by user feedback and analytics.
The EvryVision platform delivered a transformative impact for immersive content delivery. Businesses can now create and publish 360° virtual tours and AR experiences without specialised technical knowledge, dramatically reducing production time and cost. The cross-platform viewer ensures a consistent, high-quality experience across web, mobile, and VR headsets, expanding audience reach. Optimised media delivery pipelines reduced load times for large 360° assets, improving user engagement and reducing bounce rates. The scalable architecture supports growing content libraries and concurrent users, positioning EvryVision for expansion across multiple industries and regions.
